Alba's 14th fundraiser!
England Coast Path part 5- Walking from Hunstanton to Walton-on-the-Naze

Alba's 14th fundraiser and her fourth of 2023!

By now Alba will have walked from the border all the way to Hunstanton which is where this leg of the adventure begins and takes her all the way down to Walton-on-the-Naze over 14 days!

The plan

​

After finishing from Hunstanton in March she'll arrive back in April ready to take on the next section down to Walton-on-the-Naze. This will be part 5 of her England Coast Path fundraiser and her longest multi day hike to date with a 14 day walk planned of around 200ish miles! Alba will be supporting the Suffolk Mind branch for this month.

When we hit Iken for our 10th night we come slightly off route going straight down (kind of!) and heading to Woodbridge. The reason for this is a lack of accommodations further down and most importantly there isn't a connecting ferry to Felixstowe on the day we're there. We'll stay in Woodbridge then get a train to Felixstowe the following day and walk back up to get back on route.

Her first two sections of this walk supported Leeds Mind and for March Alba will be supporting the Hull and East Yorkshire Mind. We'll choose another Mind branch around this section to support too.

​

Where we're staying

​

For each leg of Alba's epic journey we reach out to 100s of accommodations along the route in search of free or discounted places to stay. So far we have been incredibly lucky and will be staying in some awesome places supported by fantastic people.
